After a reign of tyranny by George W. Bush for eight years, I was looking forward to something different. Anything. Please, just bring us some change. Was that too much to hope for?

In continuing the series of Candidate Obama versus President Obama, the tough talking Candidate Obama lecturing President Bush about his stance on Afghanistan.

“His plan comes up short. There’s not enough troops, not enough resources and not enough urgency. What President Bush and Senator McCain don’t understand is that the central front in the War on Terror is not in Iraq and never was. The central front is in Afghanistan and Pakistan where the terrorists who hit us on 9-11 are still plotting attacks seven years later” candidate Obama said on September 9, 2008.

I still like Obama as a person, from what I have heard from him as a person, but I have lost faith in him as a high level politician. It seems like Obama has become more of a puppet, with others pulling his strings, just as with many presidents of recent past.
